Qualified Professional (QP) – MH/IDD/SA

Location: Shelby, North Carolina
Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Qualified Professional (QP) to provide contracted oversight, coordination, and support services to individuals with mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or substance use needs. This role supports person-centered services in accordance with North Carolina MH/IDD/SA and LME/MCO requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete assessments and develop person-centered service plans

  • Provide supervision and consultation to direct care staff

  • Coordinate services with families, providers, and community resources

  • Ensure service delivery and documentation meet NC Medicaid and LME/MCO standards

  • Maintain professional licensure/credentials and compliance independently

 

Qualifications:

  • Must meet North Carolina Qualified Professional (QP) requirements

  • Experience in MH/IDD/SA service delivery preferred

  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned caseload

 

Contractor Terms:

  • Paid per service/unit or contract agreement

  • Contractor responsible for taxes, insurance, and licensure maintenance

One-on-One Care Monitor (All Shifts)

Location: Shelby, North Carolina
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift
Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

 

Position Overview:
We are seeking reliable and compassionate One-on-One Care Monitors to provide contracted direct supervision and support to individuals receiving MH/IDD/SA services. Contractors play a vital role in ensuring safety, stability, and daily support across various shifts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide continuous one-on-one monitoring and supervision

  • Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as needed

  • Observe, document, and report behaviors and incidents

  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment

  • Follow individualized service plans and established safety protocols

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Experience in MH/IDD/SA or direct care preferred

  • Dependable, patient, and able to work assigned shifts

  • Ability to work independently as a contractor

 

Contractor Terms:

  • Paid per shift or contracted rate

  • Contractor responsible for taxes and required clearances/training
